All winners of the 2017 Hospitality Management Awards are subject to the same rigorous assessment criteria, carried out by our in-house professionals. This ensures only the most deserving firms and individuals walk away with one of these prestigious accolades and gain a place in our awards winners’ guide, which will be distributed to over 500,000 professional & affluent people worldwide. We have a massive sponsorship deal with United Airlines and Silverline Cruises so the guide will be found in airport lounges worldwide, as well as on cruise ships, a further 10,000 hotels, holiday specialists and tour providers.

Mercedes Benz did three sneak peak launches of the GLA in April 2014 at their Bryanston, Bedfordview and Menyln show rooms.

The Sneak Peak showcased the GLA, some of the latest fashion from Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and our food was a focal point with a food show.  We designed the canapes along the lines of the Pantone Spring 2014 colours.

The shows were a huge success and it is always a pleasure to work with Blue Platinum Events and Mercedes Benz.

We have been catering for the Mercedes Benz C-Class launch for the last month and have loved every minute.  Here are some pics from  Media Day at Delmas Race Track.

 

We catered for a fabulous 21st birthday party at Summer Place.  We did a terrific plated starter, main and dessert as well as cheese platters for the table.

Every month we host a dinner club which gives us an opportunity to play with food developing new flavours, look at plating and enjoying having fun in the kitchen.

We had the privilege to cater for our first Halaal friendly wedding this past weekend at Summerplace.  What a wonderful wedding and a function we will not forget.  We cooked some incredible food and are thrilled to hear that everyone loved it.

The food I had was spectacular and I heard a lot of people comment that it was the best food they had at a wedding to date. People loved that the food make conversation (especially the lemon poppyseed shot!) and that is exactly what we intended so thank you.

I also wanted to thank you for making sure that I had canapés in my long hours in the ‘green room’ – thank you.

Unfortunately I didn’t get hold of any dessert, fruit or cheese as I was committed to guests in the venue. I heard the creme brûlée was excellent as usual and I regret not being able to taste anything.
Thank you for maintaining your standards and producing the best food possible, always. It is a pleasure to work with you and I hope you will continue to have a blessed future in the industry – you truly are one of out country’s best.

We launched our 2013 canape menu at House Higgo on 17 April 2013. It was a wonderful day of great food with friends old and new. Thank you for joining us and if you were unable to, look out for our next event.

To our suppliers: Thank you to Laura Jansen Photography for these stunning pics and Con Grazia for setting the mood with your beautiful music, AV Emporium for the staging and lighting, Molecular Bars for very cool cocktails and the SA School of Weddings for the flowers.

The event was hugely successful and we look forward to launching our 2014 canape menu.

On 27 April, Freedom Day we had the pleasure and privilege of catering Khali Collins wedding.  Khali of  The Wedding Specialist is the wedding industry sweetheart.  Her wedding was a treat for all the guests.  The location of the venue was held as a suprise right up to the ceremony.  Guests were taken in minibus taxi’s from The SA School of Weddings to the secret location, the Hope School in Westcliff.  The setting was breathtaking, decor overwhelming and guests where showered with treats, music and great food.

The menu was casual, as the Bride and Groom requested.  A smoked salmon mousse as a plated started followed by a spit braai with all the trimmings.
